Today Sen. McConnell traveled to Hopkinsville and Henderson County. In Hopkinsville he met with a group of local farmers and visited an ethanol plant, and in Henderson County he made a check presentation to the county sheriff. Sen. McConnell also met with local reporters, and stopped in to visit a group of preschool students.

Yesterday Sen. McConnell made a flag presentation to the students at North Laurel Middle School, and then attended a lunch with members of the local Chamber of Commerce. In the afternoon, Sen. McConnell made stops at the Appalachian Children's Home, a community reception at City Hall in Barbourville, and an event with campaign supporters in Corbin.

On Wednesday Sen. McConnell traveled to Ohio County, where he met with members of the Chamber of Commerce and participated in a check presentation to the County Sheriff's Department. From Ohio County, Sen. McConnell traveled to Butler County where he visited the Butler County Technology and Training Center. Sen. McConnell ended the day at an event with supporters in Leitchfield.
