Earlier this week Senator McConnell visited the University of Kentucky law school to get an update on the Rural Drug Prosecution Assistance Project.  Senator McConnell has secured $2.5 million for this innovative program.  The program places law students and law school graduates in rural areas to assist the criminal justice system.

"I am pleased to hear about the successes of this project so far," said McConnell.  "This is a worthwhile program that helps our justice officials, UK law students, and citizens."
