Senator McConnell visited with community leaders yesterday in Owensboro, Kentucky.  Speaking to the members and guests of the local Kiwanis Club, Senator McConnell discussed several issues of importance to Daviess County, including Owensboro’s Riverfront Redevelopment Project and the Neblett Community Center, a center designed to help at-risk youth.  These are just two of the initiatives Senator McConnell has advocated in Washington on behalf of Owensboro residents.

It was clear from the enthusiastic crowd that Senator McConnell’s long-time support of local priorities has not gone unnoticed.
