Today's Wall Street Journal has a summary on yesterday's Senate confirmation of Judge Michael Mukasey for Attorney General.  I am pleased we have filled this seat with a competent, highly  qualified candidate.  But I am disappointed at the level of politics and gamesmanship which has entered what should have been a bipartisan effort.  You can read our blog posts from last week on this topic here and here.
