The News-Enterprise covered yesterday's groundbreaking ceremony for the Human Resource Center of Excellence, a nearly 900,000 square foot center for human resources and information technology workers at Fort Knox. The new building will house over 3,000 troops and over 1,300 civilians with new jobs created as a result of the Army's realignment plan.
I'm proud to have played a role in promoting Kentucky's needs during this period of transition and look forward to construction of this important facility as our military's mission and function changes.
