I'm looking forward to seeing Charles -- and many of you -- at the season finale on Thursday at home against Rutgers.  For those who can't be there in person, ESPN will broadcast the game nationally.  You can read more about the game here.

The News-Enterprise covered yesterday's groundbreaking ceremony for the Human Resource Center of Excellence, a nearly 900,000 square foot center for human resources and information technology workers at Fort Knox.  The new building will house over 3,000 troops and over 1,300 civilians with new jobs created as a result of the Army's realignment plan.

I'm proud to have played a role in promoting Kentucky's needs during this period of transition and look forward to construction of this important facility as our military's mission and function changes.

Our early television ads have scored "solid" marks among experts, according to Washington's The Hill newspaper.  The paper states thatthe ads focus on the Senator's "ability to deliver" for the Bluegrass State.  KYPolitics.org noted that "Democrats give McConnell's ad nearly as high marks as Republicans."
