Unfortunately, there has been little to no progress in what some have termed “the Saffron Revolution” in Burma.  The oppressive regime continues to suppress any opposition, often with violence.

Fortunately, many in the media remain focused on the vicious nature of the government.

Our allies in Asia and around the globe must continue to call for an end to the repression and recognize that the innocent Burmese people deserve to enjoy liberty, dignity and opportunity.
